Basic Principles of Health and Food Safety | HACCP

Detailed Description

The training program is aimed at those involved with food handling, in businesses that carry out one or more of the following activities: preparation, processing, production, packaging, storage, transport, distribution, handling and offering for sale or disposal of food.

It is also addressed to managers of companies involved and related to the food chain (e.g., consulting companies, miticide companies, equipment manufacturers, packaging companies, etc.), as well as to all consumers who are interested in food hygiene and safety.

During the presentation of the educational program, the terms: food hygiene, food safety, abnormal and unsafe food, quality will be analyzed.

All the possible risks that can lead to an unsafe food will also be examined, as well as the consequences that exist on humans from the consumption of unsafe food. The proper management of food will be studied, from receipt to consumption. In addition, there will be a reference to the legislation concerning food and ways to find the legislation on the internet. Finally, the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system will be studied with practical examples.
