TÜV AUSTRIA provides EU-type examination services for lifts, in accordance with Directive 2014/33/EU, Annex IV B (fully aligned with DCM No. 192, dated 04.04.2018, “ON APPROVAL OF TECHNICAL REGULATION ‘ON LIFTS AND SAFETY COMPONENTS FOR LIFTS, AND DETERMINING THE LIST OF HARMONIZED STANDARDS”).
This is the part of a conformity assessment procedure in which a Notified Body ascertains and certifies, through examination and tests, that a lift model meets the applicable essential health and safety requirements of the Directive.
