TÜV AUSTRIA offers services of initial and periodic inspection of lifting/work machinery, for the following type of machinery: dock cranes, construction cranes, wall mounted jib cranes, column mounted jib cranes, overhead travelling cranes, electric hoists, fork lifts, self-propelled cranes, hydraulic lifting platforms, aerial work platforms, concrete pumps, excavators, airport machinery, vehicle servicing lifts, post lifts, goods lifts, vehicle lifts, scissors lifts, automated parking systems.
Periodical inspections of lifting machineries and accessories are performed in accordance with the requirements of the applicable International and European Standards for each category of equipment, and the national legislation applied in each country. The intervals between periodical inspections depend on the categorization of the machinery (high risk – medium risk – low risk category) and are defined through a risk assessment procedure.
