ISO 22301 is Europe’s most recognized certifiable Business Continuity Management Systems standard and is the descendant of the British BS 25999. The object of the standard is the design, development, operation and improvement of a business continuity management system. Business continuity is a particularly important concept, specific to today’s era. A simplified definition of business continuity is: “Business continuity is the ability of an organization to provide products or services at acceptable predetermined levels even after a disruption occurs.”
Based on internationally accepted best practices, in order to ensure the correct and efficient operation of a management system, it should also be controlled internally. Internal inspections are one of the mandatory requirements of any management system and one of the mechanisms to achieve CHECK in the well-known Demming cycle (PDCA – Plan- Do- Check- Act) which aims at continuous improvement. The training program analyzes the basic principles of Internal Inspection, the techniques and methodologies of the inspection, but also presents the requirements of ISO 22301, as well as the method of inspection adapted to the specific type of system.
Upon completion of the training program participants will be able to conduct audits of Business Continuity Management Systems that are compliant with the requirements of ISO 22301. The training program meets the training requirements for conducting Internal Audits of a Business Continuity Management System, in accordance with the requirements of the standards ISO 22301 and ISO 19011. Aimed at people who want to receive the training to be able to carry out Internal Audits on Business Continuity Management Systems.
