The terms of the ISO 9001 standard are general and cover every organization, from industries to service providers, with the result that it takes time and effort for each educational service provider to “translate” these requirements into their own data.
Recognizing this difficulty, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) issued the ISO 29990 standard. ISO29990 describes a model for quality professional practice and performance as well as a common reference model for knowledge service providers and their customers. Some of the advantages of implementing a quality management system for training services for an Organization are:
The creation of specific, documented procedures that describe the operation in the organization, resulting in the possibility of operation regardless of the availability of specific people (e.g. Head of Studies, Director, etc.)
The measurement of the processes and procedures and the orientation towards the satisfaction of the objectives of the trainee
Obtaining an objective, independent and expert opinion on the adequacy and compliance of the system
In this training program, basic requirements of the ISO 29990 standard are presented and analyzed, with an emphasis on the concept of knowledge transfer versus training and the differences between the implementation of a system based on this standard versus a system based on the requirements of ISO 9001.
Addressed to executives related to the provision of education services either in educational organizations, or within departments of organizations whose object is education.
After completing the training program, a Certificate of Attendance with TÜV AUSTRIA ACADEMY certification is granted.
