Detailed Description

Total equipment effectiveness and efficiency (OEE) is an international method of measuring the performance of equipment (media) and workers.

Based on the result (daily or monthly index) generated based on OEE it is then possible to take appropriate corrective actions for the factors affecting the low performance of a business or to improve the existing one.

The OEE method provides a stable and proven way to measure the effectiveness of other methodologies, such as Lean Manufacturing, TPM tools and other productivity-enhancing actions.

Measures productivity losses from lag time, measures losses from slow cycles and other factors that cause the process to operate at less than maximum speed, measures losses and costs from non-conforming products/services, ranks efficiency operating an organization on a global scale (> / = 85% OEE world-class company).

This program is aimed mainly at mid- and high-level managers of any company. It also concerns employees who have been assigned the responsibility of running specific work departments.

What does the Training Program provide ?

The purpose of the program is to train relevant business executives regarding:

• the understanding of concepts, principles and practices in matters of production, productivity, cost of non-quality, availability of equipment and workers, organization of production according to established principles and directions.
• the recognition of the importance of measuring the performance of the equipment in order to take corrective measures to improve it.  
• the training in how a methodology to determine the parameters of performance and effectiveness of the means and resources of a business is devised and applied to achieve process quality, workflow and time utilization.
• the adherence of employees to a framework of “continuous improvement” (continuous improvement) through the measurement of performance and actions for improvement.
• the full utilization of the company’s available resources (materials, people, time, spaces, equipment, etc.)
• the development of a comparative “competition” mentality and climate oriented towards efficiency and acceptable performance. 
• the development and further improvement of the spirit of improvement by everyone at work and the efficient utilization of resources (equipment and people).
