On January 16, 2019, TÜV AUSTRIA Hellas Ltd (Dega Shipëri) organized at the Tirana International Hotel a very successful conference attended by more than 100 entrepreneurs, senior managers and consultants from all over Albania. The opening speech was held by Mr. Ioannis Kallias, Executive Director of TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS and Mr. George Kokkinos, General Manager for TÜV AUSTRIA in ALBANIA and KOSOVO.
For those present, a presentation was first held on the benefits of the implementation of Management Systems as well as the status of certification in Albania and Kosovo by Mrs. V. Mano and Mrs. D. Qafa, Lead Auditor of Management Systems for TÜV AUSTRIA Hellas Ltd (Dega Shipëri).
Furthermore, Deputy General Manager of TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS, Mr. Haralabos Ageloudis and Head of the Department of Management Systems and Product Certification, Mr. Nikolaos Sifakis, spoke about the new perspectives of Certification in the food sector (ISO 22000:2018, GFSI Schemes, the Standard for Anti-Bribery Management Systems ISO 37001, as well as new trends and developments in Certification in terms of Health and Safety in Labor (ISO 45001:2018), Energy Management (ISO 50001:2018), Sustainability (ISO 26000:2010 and Standards – GRI), Carbon Footprint (ISO 14064-1: 2019 and Airport Carbon Accreditation Scheme (ACA )).
In conclusion, the Coordinator of Quality Assurance and H&S of ICTS ALBANIA SH.P.K., Mr. Dorian Zagorcani and Mrs. Lendita Kika Berisha, Director of the Quality and Safety Department at the CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY OF KOSOVO shared with the participants their successful experiences in the implementation of Management Systems in the respective businesses in Albania and Kosovo.
